The Lead Technician in Training is an entry-level leadership track role. No prior automotive or shop experience is necessary—we provide full paid training on technical skills, safety procedures, and floor management.

In this role, you will learn the business from the ground up, starting with basic vehicle servicing and progressing into supervising floor operations, conducting final quality and safety checks, and ensuring team members perform work correctly and safely.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections).
• Learn how to operate shop equipment, lifts, and diagnostic tools safely and effectively.

• Perform final safety and quality checks on completed vehicles (verifying proper torque on drain plugs/filters, fluid levels, and overall work quality) before cars return to customers.
• Enforce shop safety guidelines, ensuring all team members wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean, hazard‑free workplace.

• Learn to direct bay workflow to keep service moving efficiently and safely.
• Oversee team members on the floor to ensure proper shop procedures are followed on every vehicle.
• Provide positive guidance and real-time coaching to keep team performance high.

• Valid Driver’s License: Required to move customer vehicles in and out of service bays.
• No Experience Necessary: Complete training is provided.

.Lead Shop Technician is responsible for the direct supervision of all shop technicians. Training all shop technicians for all levels of services, Performing services including brakes, rotors, oil change, transmission, differential, cooling system maintenance, repairing and replacing automotive component.

Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles to ensure customers can drive away feeling safe and at ease
