Position Summary and Description

The Ranch Country Club is hiring enthusiastic individuals looking for a job in the field of Recreation, Hospitality, and Child Development. Supervised Childcare Attendants can expect to receive practical, hands-on experience working with the Youth and Family Department at The Ranch Country Club. Supervised Childcare is a program located in our clubhouse that provides members with childcare while they work out, eat, golf, play tennis, or attend events at the club.

The children play inside and outside, do craft projects, enjoy games and sports, and more. Supervised Childcare is available to children who can use the toilet on their own up to age 12.

Position Requirements
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to being a positive role model for youth.
  • Experience working with children and an understanding of childhood development is preferred.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and AED training within 30 days of being hired. We can provide this training.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
Position Expectations and Responsibilities
  • Be comfortable being around kids, reading to them, and playing with them.
  • Maintain a safe and engaging environment for all children.
  • Attending all regularly scheduled staff meetings.
  • Serve as an appropriate role model for the children at the Club.
  • Report any safety issues immediately to the supervisor.
  • Perform administrative record keeping including attendance, sign-in/out sheets, and accident/incident and behavior reports.
  • Maintain a courteous, polite, and helpful relationship with all Members and guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The position is year-round, part-time offering between 5-15 hours per week. Currently, open opportunities include:

  • Wednesday - Saturday 4:15 PM - 9:30 PM, Occasional weekend hours.
