Job Summary

The Project Manager oversees the full lifecycle of industrial construction projects across southeastern Wyoming and the Colorado Front Range. The role is responsible for comprehensive project planning, scheduling, budgeting, estimating, and workforce oversight to ensure safe, timely, and cost‑effective execution. The Project Manager works closely with craft supervision to coordinate daily field activities and maintains strong knowledge of industrial construction methods, equipment, specifications, and safety standards.

Leadership, problem‑solving and communication skills are essential, as is compliance with drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee projects from set‑up to close‑out within the industrial, mining, and O&G construction industries.
  • Recruit, manage, and lead teams of Project Engineers, Field Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen.
  • Supervise daily work, verify conformance to finished work product, and enforce contract requirements.
  • Ensure all safety and environmental requirements are met.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with project subordinates and other Loenbro companies to ensure timely, cost‑effective completion.
  • Provide team training on safe machine operation.
  • Assign work, monitor job costs, forecast monthly performance, and complete written progress reports.
  • Support training and development for team members to ensure safety and quality.
  • Collaborate with all operations areas to identify new opportunities.
  • Review and update overall project schedules with the Project Engineer; distribute to stakeholders.
  • Produce cost‑based estimates for RFPs sent to Loenbro.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Preferred:
    Engineering or Construction Management degree.
  • MSHA experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction of industrial projects.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Project Manager in the mechanical field.
  • Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar costing program.
  • Experience with P6 or similar scheduling software.
  • Experience with Viewpoint or similar account software.
  • Experience with Heavy Bid or similar estimating software.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
  • Completion of OSHA or equivalent safety training.
  • Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Occasional indoor office setting with controlled temperature.
  • Mostly outdoor industrial sites or mining environments with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, extreme weather, uneven terrain, and other environmental factors.
  • Fit to move in confined spaces, climb stairs and ladders, and work at significant heights.
  • Lift 1‑50 lbs of equipment and materials.
  • Walk up to two miles per day on uneven terrain; stand, sit, crawl, kneel as required.
  • Use respirator if the position requires.
  • Work in fabrication shops with noise, dust, or chemical exposure.
  • Travel up to 75% of the time.

Compensation

$135,000 - $145,000 USD
