Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, friendly, and detail-oriented Front Desk / Insurance Coordinator to join our dental team. This role is essential in creating a positive patient experience while ensuring accurate insurance verification and financial coordination. The ideal candidate must have strong customer service skills and prior experience with dental insurance verification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service from check-in to check-out.
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments (Dentrix), and manage the daily schedule efficiently.
  • Verify dental insurance benefits accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Clearly communicate insurance coverage, co-pays, deductibles, and treatment estimates to patients.
  • Submit and follow up on insurance claims as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collect payments and review financial arrangements with patients.
  • Coordinate with clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Handle patient questions and concerns professionally and compassionately.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a dental office (required).
  • Proven experience with dental insurance verification (required).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
  • Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
