In the role of Planner 2, we’ll count on you to:
- Independently collect, assimilate and manage land use planning, urban design and landscape design project-related data
- Prepare constraints mapping and required documents
- Assist in preparation and participation of public information meetings and hearings
- Prepare conceptual and schematic designs for residential and mixed‑use buildings of all types
- Prepare detailed urban designs for public spaces of all types
- Prepare high‑quality illustrations for master plans and specific plans
- Perform other duties as needed
- Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning or closely related field
- A minimum of 5 years experience in planning and design
- AICP certification desired
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Extensive graphics and report document production experience
- Experience with GIS
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
- May require the ability to travel
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must
