Who We Are

With three campuses along Colorado's Front Range, Front Range Community College is the state's largest community college. We enroll close to 28,000 students annually from our diverse service area, which offers a variety of cultural and recreational activities.

Each year approximately 5,000 FRCC students transfer to four-year universities. FRCC offers more than 36 career training programs that prepare students for immediate employment and rewarding careers. Who You Are

As a Teaching Assistant within the Massage Therapy program, you will be providing independent support to instructor of record by developing and demonstrating laboratory processes, providing direct training on program specific processes/techniques and assisting with the coordination and delivery of classroom instruction.

You will also monitor students in the classroom/laboratory; assists with developing and administering examinations, grades papers, and provides input to instructor of record regarding student performance, and provide program area support.

The selection process for the Massage Therapy Teaching Assistant will be conducted through a competitive, merit-based evaluation of all qualified applicants. Part-time hours and schedule are somewhat variable per semester and cannot exceed 28 hours per week.

Qualifications Salary Rate Associate's Degree $18.22 hourly

Related Vocational Credential $18.22 - $22.78 hourly (based on experience)
Bachelor's Degree $22.78 hourly

BENEFITS:

Variable hour employees will have their hours measured on an annual basis to determine eligibility to enroll in medical health insurance only for the following benefit period. (See: Instructor & Variable Hour Employee Benefit Information).

Qualifications

Required Education/Training &

Work Experience:

* A minimum of one (1) year experience in program specific area.

* Current Colorado Massage Therapy License.

Preferred Education/Training &

Work Experience:

* Completion of the FRCC massage therapy program.
