Social Sciences Teacher (Humanities, Psychology, Sociology & More)

An "Outstanding" Secondary School in the Borough of Westminster is looking for a Social Sciences Teacher for a September 2026 start. This is a permanent, full‑time position.

The Head Teacher is keen to appoint a hardworking, driven and flexible teacher who can teach several subjects across KS3‑5. Ideal subjects include:

• Humanities (History or Geography)
• Health & Social Care
• RE
• Citizenship
• PSHE
• Sociology
• Psychology

Position open to both experienced and recently qualified teachers. Experienced teachers may have the opportunity to gain a TLR (e.g., KS4/5 Coordinator or Pastoral). ECTs will be enrolled in a bespoke induction and extensive CPD.

• Teach Social Science subjects to KS3‑5 students.
• Develop and deliver engaging lessons that meet the curriculum.
• Coordinate or support TLR roles as appropriate.
• Inspire and motivate the younger generation of learners.

• UK QTS or in the process of gaining.
• Strong academic background (Degree, A Levels, GCSEs).
• Meet the Teaching Standards to a Good or Outstanding level.
• Willing to listen to feedback.

• Graded Outstanding in the latest Ofsted report.
• Excellent Progress 8 results.
• Modern and creative facilities.
• Impeccable behaviour standards.
