We’re partnering with a school in Boulder County, CO to hire a dedicated Bilingual Resource Special Education Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year

The Bilingual Resource Special Education Teacher supports elementary students with diverse learning needs by delivering individualized instruction aligned to IEP goals in both English and Spanish, fostering academic growth, social-emotional development, and inclusive participation within the school community.

  • Start Date: August 4, 2026
  • End Date: May 21, 2027
  • Schedule: Full Time (37.5 hours per week), onsite
  • Grade Levels: Elementary
  • School Year: 2026/2027
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct instruction and specialized academic support to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in both English and Spanish.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications in collaboration with general education teachers, related service providers, and families, ensuring clear bilingual communication.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant special education documentation and participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reviews, including translation support when appropriate.
  • Support positive behavior interventions and create a structured, supportive learning environment that promotes student independence and success.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of classroom experience.
  • Experience supporting elementary students with diverse learning needs.
