As Head of Computer Science, you will lead the department and drive high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
Key responsibilities include- Leading and managing the Computer Science department
- Developing and implementing an engaging and ambitious curriculum
- Raising attainment and progress across Key Stages 3-5
- Supporting and developing teaching staff within the department
- Monitoring performance and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning
- Promoting digital literacy and computing across the wider school
- A qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Computer Science
- Proven experience teaching at secondary level
- Experience in a leadership role or readiness to step into a Head of Computer Science position
- A track record of strong student outcomes
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- A passion for inspiring the next generation in computing and technology
