Unqualified Science Teacher + Salaried Teacher Training
A fantastic school in Westminster is looking for an unqualified science teacher for a September 2026 start. This is a full‑time, permanent position paid through the school.
What will the role of an Unqualified Science Teacher entail?- Providing high quality lessons across the Science Department – KS3-4 basis
- Having a subject specialism where your personal strengths lie
- Raising attainment and the quality of learning
- September 2026 – Full Time – Term Time Only
- Paid position on the Unqualified Teacher (UQT) scale (most commonly UQ1)
- Employed directly by a school from day one
- Higher initial teaching load, typically around 15 periods per week
- Teaching load gradually increases to approximately 20 periods per week
- One dedicated training day per week
- Opportunity to gain QTS with PGCE (optional opt‑out available if required)
- Working at one school throughout – avoiding conflict in different teaching styles (in turn reducing stress on teacher)
- Unqualified Science Teacher + Salaried Teacher Training
- Working across KS3-4 with a focus on raising attainment
- Carrying out GCSE & A Level interventions
- Enrolling onto the Aspiring History Teacher Program (Schools Direct)
- September 2026 start – Full Time & Permanent
- Located in Westminster
- Must have a desirable degree from the above subjects from a reputable university
- Good A Levels & GCSEs across the board
- Must be confident within your ability and knowledge of both the GCSE & A Level curriculum
- Must be able to engage and motivate the students
