Director Of Transfer & Emerging Initiatives
As the Director of Transfer & Emerging Initiatives, you will provide strategic leadership for college-wide efforts that strengthen student access, transfer success, and educational attainment. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Enrollment & Retention, you will lead high-impact projects, partnerships, and initiatives that advance Front Range Community College's commitment to student success, belonging, innovation, and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues across Enrollment Management & Student Success, Academic Affairs, Workforce Development, and external partners to strengthen transfer pathways, remove barriers to student progression, and enhance the student experience. You will use data-informed decision-making, project management expertise, and relationship-building skills to translate strategic priorities into meaningful action and measurable outcomes that support student success and institutional effectiveness.
This position can be based out of any FRCC campus and requires a strong on-campus presence. The position may have the opportunity to work remotely occasionally and will need to travel to all three FRCC campuses as needed.

Salary Range: $78,618 - $82,549 annually
Duties & Responsibilities:
Project Management & Strategic Initiatives
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to design, implement, assess, and sustain transfer-focused and emerging initiatives aligned with the college's strategic plan and student success priorities.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, data-informed decision making, and equity-centered approaches to advance institutional goals and improve student outcomes.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and performance measures to ensure successful implementation and continuous improvement.
- Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, identify barriers, and implement adjustments that enhance the student experience and institutional effectiveness.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for college leadership and governance groups.
Transfer Partnerships & Pathways
- Assist in the development and maintenance of partnerships with four-year institutions.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement transfer fairs and engagement opportunities that connect students directly with four-year institution partners.
- Collaborate with academic departments to support articulation agreements, pathway development, and program alignment.
- Identify and expand transfer opportunities that support diverse student populations, including traditional, adult, and workforce learners.
- Represent the institution in transfer networks, consortia, and partnership meetings.
Transfer Communication & Web Strategy
- Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of transfer-related digital content and resources to ensure information is accessible, accurate, student-centered, and easy to navigate.
- Partner with Marketing and Communications to develop targeted messaging and outreach strategies.
- Monitor user experience and engagement data to inform improvements to digital resources
Emerging Initiatives Development
- Identify, design, and implement innovative initiatives that advance student success, transfer outcomes, institutional effectiveness, and strategic priorities.
- Conduct research, benchmarking, and environmental scans to inform innovation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to pilot and scale new programs and services.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, college leadership, and community partners to advance strategic initiatives and improve organizational effectiveness.
