Job DescriptionAs a full time Faculty member, you will teach a full course load in Nursing which may include theory, laboratory and clinical settings. Full-time faculty at FRCC are expected to assume instructional leadership roles that typically include hiring and mentoring part-time instructors, implementing new technologies into teaching methods, developing curriculum, scheduling classes, advising and coaching students, working with industry or community groups, serving on departmental and college-wide committees, participating in program review and accreditation processes, assessing and evaluating student academic achievement, fostering an environment of collaboration and respect, and other college activities as assigned by the Department Chair or Instructional Deans.
You work individually, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to develop an innovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population of students. Student retention and success are your top priority. You utilize technology and effective teaching strategies to develop students' critical thinking skills.
You may be asked to teach at different times, locations and modalities to meet the needs of the College.
This position requires a strong on-campus presence and may require occasional travel to all three FRCC campuses.

A graduate degree in nursing from a national nursing accredited program.
Two years of full time, or equivalent, professional nursing clinical experience within the last 5 years
A current unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Colorado or a Compact State
CTE Credential:
This faculty position will be teaching Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses. In addition to the qualifications listed above, the selected candidate must have a current CTE credential or the ability to obtain one within one year to teach. The selection process for this faculty position will be conducted through a competitive, merit-based evaluation of all qualified applicants. Preliminary screening will be based on the completed application package submitted by the candidate.
Position will remain open until filled with a priority deadline of August 27.

The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum starting salary for the position. When determining the starting salary for a new employee, FRCC takes into consideration a combination of the selected candidate's education, training and experience as it relates to the requirements of the position, as well as the position's scope and complexity, internal pay equity and external market value.
