Guitar Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a passionate Guitar Teacher to provide private and group lessons in our retail store. In this role, you will teach students of all ages and skill levels, develop individualized lesson plans, and prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances. You'll collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and student retention while promoting instruments, accessories, and sheet music.

Ideal candidates have strong guitar proficiency, prior teaching or coaching experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, student-focused learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group guitar lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop and adapt individualized lesson plans and learning goals
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
• Maintain an engaging, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and retention
• Recommend appropriate instruments, accessories, and learning materials
• Accurately track attendance, schedules, and student records
