Primrose School at Standley Lake is looking for a caring, energetic, and experienced Prekindergarten Teacher to join our amazing team!

• Has experience working with Prekindergarten-aged children
• Has experience supporting neurodivergent children and children with diverse learning, sensory, behavioral, or developmental needs
• Understands that every child learns and communicates differently and can adapt their approach to meet individual needs
• Can provide a calm, patient, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
• Uses positive guidance and age-appropriate behavior support strategies
• Is comfortable working collaboratively with families, classroom teachers, leadership, and outside support professionals when appropriate
• Is dependable, flexible, positive, and a strong team player
• Has strong communication and classroom-management skills
• Meets Colorado licensing requirements for the position or is willing to complete necessary qualifications

As a Prekindergarten Teacher, you will help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment while implementing the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum. You will build meaningful relationships with children and families, support children’s social-emotional and academic development, and help prepare our students for their next big adventure - Kindergarten!

We are especially looking for someone who understands that behavior is communication and is comfortable helping children develop skills for emotional regulation, transitions, peer interactions, communication, and independence.
