American Electric Power is seeking an entry-level Power Plant Operator in Colorado. Under supervision, you will perform semi-skilled manual work and learn duties associated with plant operation.
You will assist equipment operators, isolate and manage plant equipment, monitor water chemistry, and perform routine maintenance on plant systems. The role requires POSS, a state driver’s license, rotating shifts, and willingness to be called out as needed.
