Senior Electronics Test Technician IV | Westminster, Colorado, United States
Indotronix is seeking an :Senior Electronics Test Technician IV, Westminster, CO
Duration: 12+ Months Contract (Temp to Hire)
Shift: Standard (Mon-Fri)
High school diploma.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform box-level integration, ESTE/GSE certifications, and various testing (vibration, thermal, TVAC, PWA)
Execute test procedures using engineering drawings, work instructions, and test documentation
Conduct DMM continuity checks and Cirris testing on cable assemblies
Assemble flight/EDU hardware and test cables as per IPC/WHMA standards
Identify and troubleshoot hardware and design-related issues
Perform system power-on checks and operational testing
Configure racks and execute test setups
Record and analyze test data; report out-of-tolerance conditions
Perform connector mating/demating and wiring continuity checks
Install and troubleshoot test cables with minimal supervision
Maintain documentation, including redline updates to engineering drawings
Provide daily/weekly status updates on work progress
Ensure compliance with safety, ESD, and quality standards
Collaborate effectively across teams and departments
Required Skills
Proficiency with test instruments: DMMs, oscilloscopes, function generators, programmable power supplies
Strong ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and engineering drawings
Experience in testing and troubleshooting at component level
Knowledge of electrical, digital, analog, power, and FPGA electronics
Hands-on experience with PWA and box-level hardware testing
Ability to fabricate and rework hardware (cables, chassis, rack assemblies)
Familiarity with ESD protocols, safety procedures, and flight hardware handling
Ability to operate test software and scripts for command execution and telemetry monitoring
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Good communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Experience Required
Minimum 4+ years of related technical experience
Hands-on experience in electronics testing, integration, and troubleshooting
Experience working in lab, production, or cleanroom environments preferred
Education Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
