We are seeking a Program Manager to manage multiple fast‑paced projects in a startup environment. In this position you will be responsible for program performance and day‑to‑day execution of major components within large systems or component production programs, including concept development, implementation, production, modification, integration, test, and delivery. You will be the single point of contact for customer interactions, program management reviews, and major program reviews.
Working collaboratively with all functional organizations, you will guide risk‑based decisions to meet program objectives, leading cost, schedule, and technical performance. You will establish baselines, measure performance, monitor progress, and provide inputs for customers, leadership, and finance. You will also support improving standard processes across our Space Payloads portfolio.
Job Requirements andMinimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in systems or design engineering and program/project roles.
- BSc in an engineering field (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, etc.) is required; MS preferred.
- Familiarity with RF, communication, or satellite systems.
- Coordinating program requirements across the lifecycle.
- Understanding of aerospace systems engineering processes from concept to production.
- Experience managing cross‑functional, decentralized teams and integrating new technologies.
- Experience with CAM, risk management, EVMS, and risk‑based assessment.
- Experience developing work breakdown structures, integrated master plans, and schedules.
- Experience managing programs with dynamic and multi‑project interdependencies.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
- Experience working with government customers.
- Experience with NASA (GRC, JSC, MSFC) customers.
- Experience in DoD acquisition processes.
- Return‑to‑Green experience on one or more programs.
- Experience in NRE development programs.
- PMP certification.
