The Electrical Engineer I role is an experienced-level position and the Electrical Engineer II is an advanced-level position, both are responsible for supporting the design and execution of electrical systems for a variety of projects within the energy sector. In this role, you will contribute to power system design, control systems, and project deliverables while working alongside multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
WhatYou'll Do
- Medium and low voltage power system design.
- PLC-based process control/automation and communication system design.
- Project engineering and technical tasks (client interaction and job scoping, equipment specification, engineering calculations and drawing reviews, contractor bidding, onsite construction inspection, system commissioning and troubleshooting assistance, project management).
- Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years industry experience in power and/or control system engineering and design.
- PE License preferred, or minimum of EIT with progress toward a PE License.
- Strong work ethic and ability to travel to field project locations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to quickly react to changing priorities and deadlines.
