Micro Precision is seeking an Electrical/RF Calibration Technician to join our quality-focused team supporting aerospace, electronics, and manufacturing clients. In this role, you will perform accredited electrical and RF calibration on a wide range of test and measurement equipment, both in our lab and at customer sites. You will execute procedures to ISO/IEC 17025 standards, document results, and ensure NIST traceability.
Working in a collaborative, customer-centric environment, you'll troubleshoot issues, perform minor repairs, and contribute to continuous improvement while developing deep metrology expertise and supporting global quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and RF calibration on test and measurement equipment to accredited standards
- Execute on-site and lab-based calibration following established procedures and quality systems
- Document calibration results, generate certificates, and maintain accurate records in calibration management systems
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed
- Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and related instruments
- Interpret technical specifications, standards, and customer requirements to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and customers to resolve technical issues and scheduling needs
- Follow safety, ESD, and cleanliness protocols in lab and on-site environments
- Support continuous improvement of calibration procedures and work instructions
- Assist in training and knowledge sharing within the calibration team
Required Skills
