Accounting Manager

A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Controller to join its team. This hire will join a collaborative finance team and step into a role with visible impact, cross-functional exposure, and long-term growth potential.

The role will give this individual the opportunity to help strengthen the accounting function, support continued improvements in the close process, and provide leadership across a multi-location manufacturing environment.

This person will bring a strong understanding of manufacturing accounting
, cost of goods
, and core month-end and year-end close activities.

You'll work closely with the Director of Finance and maintain a dotted-line relationship to the VP of Finance
, while partnering with teams across operations and sales. This position will play an important part in helping the business maintain smooth financial operations and support decision-making across the organization.

This person will also have the chance to demonstrate readiness for broader leadership over time, with the possibility of growing into the C
ontroller role within a year.

This role is expected to target a base salary of up to $105,000
, with a 10% bonus.

This is a 100% on-site position in Westminster, Colorado
. As such, only candidates who are local to the area or able to work on-site full-time will be considered.

• Support core accounting operations in a manufacturing environment, including month-end and year-end close activities
• Apply knowledge of cost accounting
  , cost of goods
  , and related financial processes to help improve reporting accuracy and visibility
• Partner with the Director of Finance and VP of Finance to provide stronger oversight for accounting activities that support multiple locations
• Work cross-functionally with teams such as operations and sales
  , adapting communication style to different personalities and business needs
• Help sustain and improve close timelines as the finance team continues driving toward faster, more efficient reporting cycles
• Contribute as a high-visibility member of the accounting team with the potential to grow into broader leadership responsibilities over time

3-5 years experience with:

• Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of cost accounting
  , cost of goods
  , and core accounting principles
• Experience leading or supporting month-end and year-end close processes
• Ability to work effectively with different personalities across finance
  , operations
  , and sales
• Proven ability to speak clearly to prior accomplishments and resume experience in detail
• Degree in Accounting or a related field
• CPA is a plus, but not required
• Comfort working in a dog-friendly workplace
• Ability to work fully on-site in Westminster
