Position: Assistant Investigations & Complaints Officer, HOUSE OF COMMONS

What you’ll be doing

The Office of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards plays a vital role in upholding standards and maintaining public confidence in Parliament. We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Assistant Investigations & Complaints Officer to join our small and dedicated team, supporting the Commissioner's work in handling investigations, managing stakeholder correspondence and delivering engagement activities across and beyond the Parliamentary community.

You will work closely with operational Investigation Managers, providing administrative support for investigations, responding to enquiries and correspondence from members of the public and internal stakeholders, and helping to coordinate the Commissioner's outreach and engagement programme. The role offers a varied workload in a fast‑paced environment and would suit someone who enjoys working with accuracy and discretion, can manage competing priorities, and is comfortable dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
