American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and active ARRT (R) and (CT) certifications for a 13-week acute care assignment working night shifts on a Friday–Sunday schedule.

• Acute care hospital setting in the CT/Radiology department
• Department has 3 CT scanners: 2 GE and 1 Siemens
• General CT imaging performed; average of 20–30 scans per day
• EMR:
  Epic; PACS:
  Fuji Synapse
• IV insertion required
• No floating to other departments
• No in-house radiologist; department is supported by a coordinator and manager
• 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Call requirement of 2 shifts per month
• Holiday coverage may be required
• Perform general CT imaging studies with an average daily volume of 20–30 scans
• IV insertions are part of routine responsibilities
• A radiation badge must be provided by the agency prior to the start of the assignment
• Candidates must be physically present in state for the week of orientation, even if initial modules are completed remotely
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any Common Spirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates previously employed PRN through outside firms may be considered
• Navy blue tops and black pants are required; scrubs are not provided by the facility
• Travelers are expected to float within the zone they are hired into and must secure housing that supports this requirement

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required; pending certifications will not be accepted
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Active state or compact (NLC) license required if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted
• Experience with general CT imaging required
• Proficiency with GE and/or Siemens CT scanners preferred
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
