We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join an exceptional educational team in El Paso County, CO. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity running from July 2025 through May 2026.
In this role, you will support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists by implementing therapy plans and working closely with students to enhance their communication skills in a school-based setting. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with guaranteed 37.5 hours weekly.

7:30am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday. - Guaranteed
Hours:
37.5 hours weekly. - Start Date:
August 2025. - End Date:
May 2026. - Base pay range: $37.00/hr - $43.00/hr.

This pay range is provided by Onward Search; actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
- Implement speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions based on documented treatment plans and IEP goals.
- Assist in administering speech, language, and hearing screenings and informal assessments.
- Prepare and organize therapy materials, activities, and documentation tools.
- Collect data on student progress and maintain accurate service records.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support carryover of communication strategies.
- Monitor and report student performances to the supervising SLP for program updates.
- Support scheduling, clerical duties, and organization of therapy spaces.
- Follow ethical, legal, and professional guidelines for SLPA practice and scope.
- Participate in required training, supervision, and professional development opportunities.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in speech language pathology, communication sciences and disorders, or a related field.
- Speech Language Pathology Assistant License from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience.
