What Makes This Role Great:

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of Trimble’s digital transformation, directly spearheading the establishment of our Data Management Office (TDMO). You won't just be managing a process; you will be architecting the frameworks, councils, and standards that define how a global technology leader utilizes its most valuable resource—data.
** Key Exciting Responsibilities**
* ** Architect the TDMO**:
Lead the establishment and ongoing operation of the Trimble Data Management Office, from charter definition to high-impact stakeholder communication.
* ** Empower the Data Council**:
Build and manage the Data Governance Council, identifying key stewards and providing the training needed to champion data excellence.
* ** Master the Metadata**:
Oversee high-stakes metadata initiatives, including customer data cleanup and the migration of complex systems into a unified data ecosystem.
* ** Launch the Data Catalog**:
Drive the implementation of a comprehensive data catalog, documenting lineage and definitions to make data accessible and actionable.
* ** Guardian of Data Integrity**:
Develop data quality scorecards and enforce lifecycle controls to ensure our data is secure, classified, and compliant.###
** Essential Skills & Experience**
* ** Professional Experience**: 3+ years of demonstrable experience in Project Management, Program Coordination, or Business Analysis, ideally within a technical or data-heavy environment.
* ** Data Expertise**:
Strong understanding of metadata management principles and data lifecycle management, including access controls and retention policies.
* ** Strategic Communication**:
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* ** Analytical Mindset**:
Strong problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach to complex data ecosystems.
* ** Education**:
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).###
