In this role, you ll be at the heart of Trimble s digital transformation, directly spearheading the establishment of our Data Management Office (TDMO). You won t just be managing a process; you will be architecting the frameworks, councils, and standards that define how a global technology leader utilizes its most valuable resource—data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect the TDMO
    :
    Lead the establishment and ongoing operation of the Trimble Data Management Office, from charter definition to high-impact stakeholder communication.
  • Empower the Data Council
    :
    Build and manage the Data Governance Council, identifying key stewards and providing the training needed to champion data excellence.
  • Master the Metadata
    :
    Oversee high-stakes metadata initiatives, including customer data cleanup and the migration of complex systems into a unified data ecosystem.
  • Launch the Data Catalog
    :
    Drive the implementation of a comprehensive data catalog, documenting lineage and definitions to make data accessible and actionable.
  • Guardian of Data Integrity
    :
    Develop data quality scorecards and enforce lifecycle controls to ensure our data is secure, classified, and compliant.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Professional Experience
    : 3+ years of demonstrable experience in Project Management, Program Coordination, or Business Analysis, ideally within a technical or data-heavy environment.
  • Data Expertise
    :
    Strong understanding of metadata management principles and data lifecycle management, including access controls and retention policies.
  • Strategic Communication
    :
    Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical Mindset
    :
    Strong problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach to complex data ecosystems.
  • Education
    :
    Bachelor s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation range: $78,400.00 - $ (based on full-time schedule).
