AI Engineer (Applied/Software), Data Science Manager
Overview
The Manager, Media Quality will lead a team of direct reports, oversee performance evaluations, and set goals. In this senior contributor role, you will architect and implement advanced automation and analytics solutions, working closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to build modular AI agents, data visualizations, tools, and process efficiencies. You will guide multiple projects from conception to completion, coordinate team and cross‑team activities, and ensure timely delivery of tasks, proper communication, and documentation.
You will lead internal investigations, guide team members through data analysis and insights, and maintain acute attention to detail within the digital media ecosystem, including publishers, exchanges, DSPs, SSPs, and RTB standards. This role supports Epsilon’s commitment to innovation, excellence in media quality, ad fraud mitigation, and client brand safety.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of direct reports
- Design and deploy automation systems for fraud detection, brand safety, and media curation
- Build reusable tools and frameworks for internal teams and client‑facing platforms
- Integrate LLM agents with internal APIs, JIRA, and monitoring systems
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to deliver scalable solutions
- Contribute to prompt engineering and Copilot workflows across teams
- Prior people manager with direct reports
- 5+ years in senior technical roles within digital media, ad tech, or data engineering
- Expertise in coding languages including Python, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and related technologies
- Experience in prompt engineering (AWS, Copilot, Amazon Bedrock and AI/ML frameworks)
- Experience building automation systems and integrating with enterprise tools
- Understanding of various media environment functionalities (VAST/VPAID, MRAID, OMID, CTV, SSAI)
- Experience in publisher or technical integration engineering, including transparency standards (OpenRTB guidelines, ads.txt, app‑ads.txt, ads.cert, sellers.json)
- Experience troubleshooting and investigating creative and ad‑tag issues

Compensation Range: USD $89,300.00 – USD $ per annum. This range reflects the company’s expected pay for this position at the time of posting and may be adjusted at any time.
