Senior Satellite & Ground Systems Engineer

Vantor is hiring a Senior Satellite & Ground Systems Engineer to design, integrate, and optimize satellite communication and ground systems for data driven applications. You'll architect end to end ground segments, from antenna interfaces and RF links to mission control, telemetry, and real time data processing pipelines in the cloud. Working in agile teams, you'll collaborate with developers, Dev Ops, and client stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and resilient systems, automate operations, and improve observability.

You'll mentor teammates, champion engineering best practices, and help clients modernize mission critical satellite operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect end to end satellite and ground system solutions for client projects
• Integrate RF links, antennas, and mission control software with cloud based data pipelines
• Develop and automate telemetry, tracking, and command workflows for reliable operations
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve system observability and uptime
• Collaborate with cross functional agile teams and client stakeholders to refine requirements
• Conduct system integration, testing, and performance tuning across on prem and cloud
• Ensure security, reliability, and scalability of satellite and ground system architectures
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards, tooling, and best practices
