IT Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Systems Analyst, IT Consultant
Responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving enterprise business applications, software, and business processes. This role serves as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure systems meet operational needs and deliver value. Troubleshoot and resolve application support issues in a timely and accurate manner as well as work with business users on functional testing and provide status reports as needed.
Note:
There is one position available and the position will be filled at one of four job grade levels: IT Business Analyst I, job grade 6; IT Business Analyst II, job grade 7, IT Business Analyst III, job grade 9; or Senior IT Business Analyst, job grade 10. This decision will be based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate selected, and Tri-State business needs at the time of hire.

Hiring Salary Range: $,000
IT Business Analyst III
Hiring Salary Range: $98,000-$124,000
IT Business Analyst II
Hiring Salary Range: $80,000-$99,000
IT Business Analyst I
Hiring Salary Range: $72,000-$88,000
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary outside of the posted hiring salary range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain understanding of business processes and needs as well as enterprise applications to provide effective support.
- Work with business customers to demonstrate the changes to the system and ensure all relevant business needs are addressed.
- Conduct gap analysis between application and stated user requirements and collaborate with Architects and Developers to estimate project impact
- Document functional and non-functional requirements that include business rules, functional hierarchy, workflows, interfaces, report definitions, pain points, data analysis and data mapping.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and technical teams to ensure solutions meet requirements
- Develop functional test plans, test cases, user guides & participate in user acceptance testing
- Keep in touch with emerging technological trends, and standards in providing business users with requested functionality and on-going support.
- Recommend, schedule, and perform software enhancements, patches, and upgrades.
- Managing user access, permissions & configuration for applications
- Map requirements to commercial software products and assist in procurement.
- Develop estimates and cost-benefit analyses for projects.
- Lead planning for new releases of business applications.
- Perform extract, transform & load data from various sources as needed
- Develop scripts & workflows to automate data collection and processing tasks
- Create visually appealing & interactive dashboards, reports & presentations
- Adhere to electric utility industry regulations and compliance.
