Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Janitor to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. The Janitor will ensure that our facility remains a welcoming and sanitary space for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting of all common areas, lobbies, waiting rooms, hallways, and restrooms.
  • Disinfect and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, light switches, and elevator buttons.
  • Empty and properly dispose of trash and medical waste according to established guidelines, which can include outside and around the building.
  • Refill dispensers for soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.
  • Assist with setting up and cleaning meeting rooms and event spaces as necessary.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and facility teams to address any issues related to building cleanliness and safety.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
  • Other tasks and projects requested by the customer and/or Advanced Building Maintenance, Inc team.
Qualifications
  • Previous janitorial or custodial experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Understanding of infection control practices and the importance of maintaining a sanitary environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work during both day and evening shifts as required.

  • Background checks will be conducted in accordance with applicable law
