The overall mission of the Lens Crafters at Macy’s Store Manager is to lead and own the business within the market, establishing Lens Crafters as the premier vision destination, driving top-line and profitability growth, and ensuring flawless execution of superior customer and patient experience.

• Drive quality and improvement to meet or exceed all key performance indicators.
• Ensure Lens Crafters is known as the leading optical provider within the host, community, and market.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of retail business and transfer that knowledge to achieve superior sales results.
• Exhibit strong business acumen and manage continual improvement and execution of best practices for growth.
• Propose and execute business plans to maximize sales and profit, identify root causes of issues, and address recovery opportunities.
• Lead a team through strong customer-relations skills to deliver unsurpassed experiences.
• Manage profits and expenses for the store.
• Establish clear expectations, train, coach, and develop the team for excellence and accountability.
• Recruit and select high-caliber, success-oriented talent and build a succession pipeline.
• Follow workforce management guidelines to optimally staff the store.
• Execute visual directives to maintain a consistent company message and high standards.
• Lead Doctor of Optometry co-planning business meetings.
• Leverage insurance plans with local companies and attend local health fairs.
• Ensure compliance with company and host policies and procedures.
• Perform administrative duties including cash handling, payroll, inventory management, and technical application.
• Implement and maintain all company-approved safety programs.
• Work weekends and evenings as needed to support business goals.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 4+ years of management or supervisory experience.
• Proven track record of delivering results and positive growth.
• Excellent business and financial acumen, including operational analysis.
• Comprehensive knowledge of retail operations, processes, and policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
• Strong command of the English language for all correspondence.

• College degree or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a leadership position within retail and customer service.
• Knowledge of basic optics.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states.

Pay Range: $27.15 - $46.99 per hour. Employee pay is determined by geography, experience, qualifications, and local minimum wage requirements. A competitive bonus and/or commission plan may also be offered.
