We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and enthusiastic staff member to join our Operations and Organizational Development Division as our Welcome Center Administrative Supervisor. The Welcome Center Administrative Supervisor leads, mentors, and empowers a team of Administrative Specialists across our Human Services Welcome Centers in Fort Collins and Loveland.

The Welcome Center primarily assists clients with public assistance programs (including SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid), answers client inquiries, and connects individuals to community resources. This position is expected to set the standard for exceptional, compassionate customer service to ensure every community member feels supported. The Administrative Supervisor will oversee daily workflows and operational functions to drive efficiency and consistency across both Welcome Center locations.

Monday-Friday 8-4:30 pm. This is a full-time, in-office position at both the Fort Collins and Loveland Human Services locations. Typically, you will be at one location three days per week and the other two days per week. However, you may also need to go to both locations during the workday.

Responsibilities
  • Directing daily administrative operations and supervise staff across the Fort Collins and Loveland Welcome Centers to foster a cohesive, high-performing team environment
  • Establish ing operational priorities, procedures, and service standards that streamline daily workflows and ensure compassionate, efficient support for Human Services clients
  • Oversee ing supply logistics, maintaining optimal inventory levels for administrative forms, office essentials, and necessary client items
  • Represent the Welcome Centers in inter-departmental meetings, building strong agency partnerships to align practices, stay current on policy updates, and maintain consistent service delivery
  • Partner ing with fleet inventory team to monitor, track and coordinate maintenance for County fleet vehicles located at Human Services locations
  • Provid ing direct, hands-on Welcome Center coverage during peak volumes, staffing coverage gaps, or during emergent or escalated client interactions

  • Ability to foster unit cohesion and cross-department collaboration by establishing a clear operational tone, shared focus, and mission-driven purpose
  • Proactive initiative to evaluate existing systems, identify roadblocks, and implement innovative process improvements that drive efficiency
  • Expertise in de-escalating heightened situations with empathy, composure, and professionalism while providing necessary support
Qualifications
  • Five (5) years of experience in a related field.
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience required.
  • Possess reliable transportation to work in any County facility as needed and required.
