Quality Assurance Technician at Eaton Manufacturing Westminster

Shift Information

• The hours for 1st shift are 7:00am - 3:30pm
• The hours for 2nd shift are 3:00pm - 11:30am
• The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 + 10% shift differential per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on parts and products, including but not limited to mechanical and visual inspections.
• Work to approved inspection checklists, engineering drawings, purchase orders, work instructions and specifications.
• Utilize Non‑Conforming Material Control process to document parts that do not meet specifications.
• Ensure that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years of experience with mechanical and visual inspections.
• 2 years of experience using business‑class software in a professional employment setting.
• Requirement to be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident due to export‑controlled technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
• Advanced Part Quality Planning (APQP) knowledge.
• Ability to interpret Engineering Drawings, Workmanship Standards, Military and Federal Specifications, and basic GD&T.
• First Article Inspection (FAI) AS9102 knowledge.
• ASQ Mechanical Inspector Certification.
• Computer, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; organization and time management skills.
