Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system architecture and design models using MBSE tools and methodologies.
- Perform requirement traceability, impact analysis, and design validation through model simulations.
- Support trade studies, system decomposition, and design reviews with digital artifacts.
- Provide technical direction and requirement transparency across development teams.
- Perform requirements management including requirements creation, tracking, flow down, coverage, verification tracking, compliance matrices, etc.
- Develop test procedures to formally verify system requirements for sell off events.
- Decompose system requirements and collaborate with multi-disciplined, distributed teams to generate efficient and scalable solutions.
- Support the development, implementation, and verification of mission capabilities.
- Participate in the development and execution of program milestones events such as customer meetings, internal and formal Government testing events, and discrepancy report (DR) review boards.
- Conduct testing events of software solutions and generate test result documentation.
- 5 years of professional experience working in systems engineering with at least 1 year applying Model Based Systems Engineering principles.
- Proficiency with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, IBM Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect.
- Working knowledge of SysML.
- Experience developing and managing system requirements, interface definitions, and verification plans.
- Ability to develop requirements.
- Ability to develop test procedures that verify requirements.
- Ability to develop traceability between requirements, code, and verification.
- Effective cross-organizational communicator with the ability to work well in a small team, fast paced environment.
- Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering field.
- U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret security clearance.
