POSITION SUMMARY:

The role functions as a member of an area team that is directly responsible for the efficient production of quality products in the required quantities. Duties and tasks are simple and repetitive this role will operate/change over specified machinery in the assigned area. Team Members must ensure efficiency, operational conformance, product quality and continuous improvement. This job requires strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills to support site objectives.

• Comply with GMPs, food safety, quality, and production controls.
• Perform activities in compliance with all customer and government regulations (USDA, FDA).
• Expected to work the required hours needed to execute the duties and responsibilities of the Production Worker position.
• Requires the ability to learn established quality and quantity requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Able to stand for up to 12-hour shifts

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work may involve lifting materials and product up to 50 pounds. Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors and non-slip shoes. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.

Responsible for knowledge and adherence to Safe Quality Food (SQF) for Food Manufacturing standards, FDA compliance, FSMA compliance, GFCO certification, Organic certification, GMP Program, Allergen Program, and other food safety programs; as trained upon initial hire and annually.
