Part Time Nurse Practitioner - Sexual Health Clinic

Pay: $70–$90/hour, depending on years of experience

This is a unique opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about sexual and reproductive health and values a consistent, part‑time weekday schedule
. In this role, you’ll provide patient‑centered, trauma‑informed care in a supportive outpatient setting, working with a diverse population across the lifespan.

The clinic focuses on high‑quality, accessible sexual health services and allows providers to practice at the top of their license while building meaningful, long‑term patient relationships—
all within a predictable Monday / Wednesday / Friday schedule
.

• Provide comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care to male and female patients in an ambulatory clinic setting
• Perform routine and problem‑focused gynecologic exams, including pelvic exams and cervical cancer screening
• Diagnose, treat, and manage sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including patient education, partner counseling, and follow‑up care
• Provide contraceptive counseling and services, including IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal
• Deliver trauma‑informed, culturally responsive care to patients with a wide range of medical, social, and emotional needs
• Conduct health assessments, order and interpret labs, and develop evidence‑based treatment plans
• Educate patients on sexual health, family planning, disease prevention, and overall wellness
• Collaborate closely with medical assistants, RNs, health educators, and clinic leadership to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care
• Accurately document visits in the electronic health record and comply with clinic, state, and federal guidelines
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support a welcoming, inclusive clinical environment

• Current Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license in Colorado
• Current prescriptive authority in Colorado
• Current BLS certification
• 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience in ambulatory women’s health or sexual health
• Strong proficiency in gynecologic exams
• Experience diagnosing and treating STIs for both male and female patients
• Demonstrated commitment to trauma‑informed care
• Experience with IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal

• Experience performing colposcopy and/or LEEP procedures
• Familiarity with Title X programs and guidelines
• Background working in an FQHC or nonprofit clinic setting

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
