Schedule: Independent clinic schedule 4 days per week
Compensation: $140k - $180k / year + Stipend bonus eligibility + Monthly productivity-based bonus

Coverage Model & Hours
- Dedicated outpatient clinic responsibilities

Travel
- Position supports clinics in both North Phoenix and Mesa
On-Call
- Shared outpatient Foot & Ankle phone call rotation among division providers
- Occasional after-hours and weekend patient call coverage
This is an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who enjoys building patient relationships, practicing with a high level of autonomy, and working within a collaborative orthopedic specialty environment. You'll play a key role in evaluating, treating, and managing patients with a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, helping guide care plans from initial consultation through recovery.
Providers in this role work closely with fellowship-trained orthopedic foot and ankle specialists while also maintaining an independent clinic schedule. You'll evaluate new and established patients, coordinate treatment plans, provide patient education, perform in-office procedures, and serve as an important clinical resource for patients throughout their care journey.
The position also offers exposure to surgical care, including assisting physicians in the operating room and participating in perioperative patient management. Whether you're an experienced orthopedic APP or a motivated new graduate looking to develop a specialty skill set, this role provides strong mentorship and long-term growth potential.

- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage foot and ankle conditions in the outpatient setting
- Obtain comprehensive patient histories and perform physical examinations
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic studies as appropriate
- Administer injections, medications, and other office-based treatments
- Triage patient phone calls and address clinical concerns
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and treatment plans
- Assist physicians during surgical procedures and perioperative care
- Participate in hospital rounds as needed
- Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly within the EMR
- Respond to urgent clinical situations and medical emergencies
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- CPR and ACLS certification
- For Physician Assistants:
Graduate of an AMA-accredited PA program - Active or scheduled NCCPA certification
- BA/BS required; MS preferred
- For Nurse Practitioners:
Current Arizona RN license - Current Arizona APRN license
- National certification approved by Arizona APRN Board
- 1-2 Years of Experience in Neurosurgery or a similar field as an APP
- NP/PA Program Completed in the USA (Not Puerto Rico)
- Arizona NP/PA License
- Orthopedic, sports medicine, podiatry, or musculoskeletal experience
- Prior Foot & Ankle experience
- Experience assisting in the operating room
- Experience managing outpatient specialty clinic patients
- Master's degree preferred
- Enjoy both independent practice and physician collaboration
