Overview
Join UCHealth as a Registered Nurse – Acute Care Oncology, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adult oncology patients on an acute inpatient unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care; administer chemotherapy and supportive therapies; manage central lines; and coordinate complex, interdisciplinary treatment plans. Collaborate closely with physicians, pharmacists, and allied health staff while educating patients and families.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult oncology patients on an acute inpatient unit.
- Administer chemotherapy and supportive therapies as prescribed.
- Manage central venous access devices; coordinate complex, interdisciplinary treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and allied health staff; educate patients and families.
