CARROLL HOSPITAL - CARDIOPULM REHAB

Part-time, Day shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

Salary: $37.15 - $57.58 (experience based)

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a member of the Nursing Department. The RN has responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. The RN manages care for patients and their families through the application of the nursing process utilizing independent judgment, collaboration and communication with all team members including ancillary and support services. The RN provides and delegates patient care activities based upon patient needs and team skills/abilities and supervises the delivery of care by the team.

The RN evaluates patient response to treatment and nursing interventions, and as needed, revises the plan of care. The RN monitors patient progress and prepares the patient for discharge.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Required:

    Associate’s Degree.
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Less than 2 years of completion of coursework of accredited nursing school.
  • CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider.
  • RN
    - Registered Nurse license.
  • ACLS
    - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
Specific Requirements
  • Knowledge of EKG; preferred certification.
