Position Purpose / Important Application InformationThe Park Attendant position is responsible for greeting visitors, providing park information, cleaning restroom and pavilion facilities, and other parks maintenance duties. This is a highly visible position, which is maintaining park amenities and environment for safe enjoyment for all guests that visits our Parks. Park Attendants are expected to provide accurate information to park guests and provide excellent customer service while working in an active park.
This position requires the ability to multi-task, work quickly, and independently handle a high volume of visitors at peak times. This position works a varied part‑time schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Most positions will begin after April 14th and last through October 10th. The full salary range for this position is stated above. The starting range of pay is dependent on qualifications and experience of each individual candidate.

- Monitors and maintains park amenities in a safe, healthy manner for our guests
- Collects trash and performs general grounds cleaning
- Operates blower, rakes, brooms, shovels, hose and other maintenance tools and equipment
- Aids other park staff during emergencies and/or other situations as they arise
- Maintains regular and punctual attendance
Incumbent is accountable for all duties of this job, and other projects and responsibilities may be added at the City’s discretion.
Position Requirements / Working Conditions / Pre‑Employment Requirements Education, Experience, Skills, Formal Training, Licenses and Certifications Required- Must be at least 16 years of age to apply, must be 18 for most positions; limited positions are available for applicants ages 16 and 17
- Valid driver’s license, provide proof of a safe driving record, and maintain a safe driving record for continued employment
