Store Manager - Kay Jewelers - Orchard Town Center

Responsibilities

• Lead the day‑to‑day operations of a single store to achieve sales, profitability, inventory control and customer satisfaction.
• Coach and develop store staff to build a People First culture, promote diversity & inclusion and deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, execute corporate initiatives and ensure brand representation in all customer interactions.
• Analyze sales reports, identify trends and develop action plans to maximize store performance and achieve sales projections.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, open/close shifts and ensure adequate coverage to support business needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures and visual standards.

• Minimum of 2 years of college, preferred a bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years of retail sales experience or 2 years of retail sales plus 1 year of retail management experience, preference for specialty retail or jewelry.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail management systems.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and lead a team.
• Bilingual skills are a plus; certification in the Diamond Council of America (DCA) is desirable.

Work requires standing, reaching, bending, kneeling or crouching; lifting or moving up to 10 pounds; visual acuity for gemstone inspection. A standard workweek includes weekends, evenings, holidays and extended hours; travel may be required.

Base pay range: $24.04 – $32.60 per hour plus commission on sales. Actual salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
