Retail Sales Specialist - Yardbird Outdoor Furniture

As a Retail Sales Specialist for our Yardbird outdoor furniture department, you’ll engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences and budget while providing expert service and recommendations. You’ll maintain expert-level knowledge of Yardbird’s furniture to help customers elevate their outdoor living spaces with high-quality, sustainable products. You’ll also use effective time management strategies to optimize daily tasks and responsibilities.

• Engage with customers to support the customer experience, complete transactions, drive profitable growth and achieve sales goals.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends and products through continuous learning and professional development.
• Stay current on promotional initiatives to generate sales during high traffic times.
• Embrace our learning culture to continuously improve existing skills while acquiring new ones.
• Maintain department merchandising and readiness to serve customers.
• Train other sales floor personnel on how to be successful in the department.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1 year of experience in sales, customer service or related fields.
• Ability to work successfully as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

• 1 year of experience working in the furniture industry.
• Luxury brand or other premium product retail or design experience.
