Summary

The Business Development Representative (BDR) – West, Central & East - is responsible for generating new business pipeline across the central United States. This outbound-focused role is a cornerstone of New Charter Technologies’ go-to-market engine, targeting SMB and mid-market accounts across key central markets.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities via outbound calls, emails, and Linked In outreach within the central US territory.
  • Research target accounts to identify key stakeholders and develop personalized outreach strategies.
  • Schedule discovery calls and product demonstrations for Senior Account Executives.
  • Maintain accurate activity records and pipeline data within the CRM.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs including calls, emails, and meetings booked.
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaign follow-up and lead qualification.
  • Participate in ongoing sales training and professional development programs.
  • Provide feedback from prospects to marketing and product teams to inform messaging and positioning.
Estimated Compensation Range

$45,000 – $65,000 base + commission

Travel

Up to 25% travel

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • 1–3 years of B2B sales development, inside sales, or outbound prospecting experience.
  • Familiarity with IT services, managed services (MSP), or technology solutions preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, Hub Spot) and sales engagement platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Experience selling into SMB or mid-market accounts a plus.
