Job Overview
The Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance is an Allstate Business) is responsible for profitable growth and attainment of business goals by driving new business sales, understanding customers’ needs, and building rapport and trust. This role drives sales and builds and retains a book of business within the market/retail location, attracts new customers, cross‑sells existing customers, and markets products outside of the office via marketing calls and in‑person visits to build community relationships.
Responsibilities- Drive new business sales and generate new customers in the market.
- Cross‑sell product offerings including Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance to existing customers.
- Market products outside of the office through outreach calls and in‑person visits.
- Maintain a strong community presence and build multiple centers of influence/referral sources.
- Assist customers in the office and maintain quality, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
- 0–2 years of experience.
- Preferred: P&C licensing or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining.
- Ability to close sales of insurance and ancillary products.
- Exceeds sales goals through new product sales and cross‑sell/retention.
- Builds an active sales pipeline using community contacts and physical presence.
- Initiates outbound calling to target customer base.
- Monitors local competitors and suggests initiatives to improve company positioning.
- Plans, implements, and manages marketing and sales processes with sales leadership.

Base hourly rate: $20.00 per hour. Total compensation may include incentive pay such as commissions and bonuses based on individual and team performance.
