Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Professional Sales Representative at La- - Furniture Galleries in Westminster, CO. Use your customer service and sales skills to create a premium shopping experience, build long- relationships, and drive sales of luxury furniture and accessories.
CompensationBase pay plus unlimited commission. Training pay: $16 per hour for 2- weeks (no commission). After training: base pay $13.50 per hour, plus uncapped commissions of 1–6% on written sales, with higher percentages for meeting or exceeding sales goals. The company will adjust pay to meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales and contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories, and services.
- Promote the Design program and work with the designer to achieve sales targets.
- Consistently execute the La- - selling process and provide a favorable customer experience.
- Develop and use sales skills such as rapport building, needs discovery, portfolio presentations, objection handling, closing, and after- service.
- Maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grassroots programs.
- Schedule and conduct professional home consultations to present customized room designs.
- Use Podium (or equivalent system) to manage customer records, deposits, fees, and follow- .
- Maintain visual appearance of the store, including displays, tagging, catalogs, and general cleanliness.
- Assist with deliveries, store opening/closing, and other operational tasks.
- Coach and train new peers on product knowledge and selling process.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- Previous selling experience, especially in luxury or retail settings.
- Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, interpersonal, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure.
- Team-player attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong attention to detail and initiative to achieve sales goals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Pass background and drug screening; valid driver’s license if required.
