Key Responsibilities- Drive revenue in a defined territory with multiple account teams and partners
- Meet or exceed revenue targets by helping AWS sellers navigate sales cycles and accelerate implementations by working with cross‑functional teams to originate and close opportunities that drive Amazon Connect revenue
- Build deep relationships with customers to fully understand their business, solutions, and technical needs
- Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan supporting multiple account teams to drive achievement of revenue and win goals
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions that address specific needs of customers
- Build, manage, and close a pipeline of Amazon Connect revenue in the territory
- Drive business development initiatives in partnership with the Go To Market Strategy team and Partner Development resources to help expand market penetration for Amazon Connect
- Prepare and give business reviews to AWS senior management teams
This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end‑to‑end go‑to‑market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
BasicQualifications
- 5+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C‑level executives
- Experience using English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels
- 5+ years experience selling into contact centers
- 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
- Experience developing detailed go‑to‑market plans
