Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Job Overview

Public Storage is the self‑storage industry leader and we are hiring now! Earn $20.50 per hour.

• Flexible full‑time schedules between 9:30am and 6pm (weekends until 5pm).

• Work independently at multiple locations, spending time inside and outside.
• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies.
• Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability.
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits.
• Keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.

• Transport and move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Be able to walk in and around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal, keeping them clean and free of debris.

• Experience in customer‑service centered sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service‑based companies.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle, required to travel between locations or for other work‑related business. Mileage reimbursement available.
