About the Role
As a Business Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the expansion of our business, growing our customer base, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your primary focus will be promoting and selling fiber optic internet, cloud‑based phone systems, cybersecurity, and managed IT services to existing and new business customers within your designated network area.
CompensationColorado residents:
Base salary $60,000‑$75,000 annually plus uncapped commission.
- Demonstrate excellence in all aspects of business‑to‑business sales development.
- Consistently drive the organization to exceed sales and revenue targets.
- Prospect and generate leads for new business opportunities in the assigned network area.
- Present and promote ALLO’s fiber services, communicating benefits and features effectively.
- Conduct needs assessments and tailor solutions to customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, managing the sales process from initial contact to closing.
- Collaborate with sales team and management to develop strategies and meet or exceed targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, providing exceptional service throughout the cycle.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to position services effectively.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports on activities and results.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and other cross‑functional teams for seamless execution and satisfaction.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent the company and generate leads.
- Continuously enhance product knowledge and stay updated on new technology developments.
- Work collaboratively and respectfully with internal partner teams to design and implement customer solutions.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 years of proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Experience driving business growth in an outside business‑to‑business sales environment.
- Prior experience in telecommunications infrastructure, fiber internet services, or related technologies is preferred but not required.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficient in using sales CRM software and other sales tools.
- Customer‑focused mindset with exceptional service skills.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative problem‑solving abilities.
- Capacity to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Remain upright on feet for extended periods.
- Remain stationary for extended periods.
- Move on foot up to 10 miles per day.
- Operate a computer and work outdoors.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Travel requirement: 50% within the market area.
