Professional Sales Consultant

Overview

Join our dynamic team of Sales Consultants at La‑Z‑Boy Furniture Galleries in Westminster, CO and help customers experience modern luxury furniture and design. You will provide a premium sales experience, build long‑term relationships, and earn uncapped commissions on all written sales.

• Guide high‑end clients through a premium sales experience and create inspired spaces with world‑class furniture and décor.
• Curate luxury looks and earn commissions with no ceiling.
• Drive sales to meet store goals by selling furniture, accessories and services offered by La‑Z‑Boy.
• Promote the Design program, assist the Designer in achieving sales goals, and present customized room designs to customers.
• Execute the La‑Z‑Boy selling process, including approach, rapport building, needs discovery, customized portfolio presentation, objection handling, closing, follow‑up, and after‑sale service.
• Maintain strong product knowledge, including features and benefits of existing and new product lines.
• Assist with customer issues, complaints, calls, and emails, providing appropriate solutions.
• Support visual appearance of the store, maintain displays, catalogues and the design centre fabrics, and keep general cleanliness.
• Accurately complete order information, deposits, fees, customer records, and order logs using the on‑point system.
• Schedule and follow up on deliveries, and handle all store opening and closing duties.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience and a strong ability to close sales.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills and the ability to build rapport.
• Ability to manage time and conflicting priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to work the schedule required by business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Successful completion of a background and drug screen.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.

Training Pay: $16.00 per hour for 2‑6 weeks (no commission).
After Training:
Base pay $13.50 per hour plus uncapped commissions on written sales. Commission ranges from 1% to 6%, increasing with performance relative to sales goals.
