Job Overview
As a Security Monitor in Denver, CO, you will oversee the security and integrity of the facilities. Amentum will provide extensive training on close observation and surveillance of premises and visitors. You must be local to the Denver area.
Responsibilities- Maintain security and integrity of the facilities.
- Closely observe and surveil surroundings and activities of individuals working in and/or visiting sensitive facilities.
- Document incidents through verbal briefing and written reports.
- Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- U.S. citizenship (required for TS/SCI clearance).
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to walk and stand for 8‑12 hours per day.
- Good visual acuity for observation from a moderate distance.
- Must complete DCJS training within 90 days of hire.
- Good customer‑service skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to sites not served by public transit.
8‑12 hour shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Shifts may vary as needed.
CompensationHourly rate: $32‑$40, with potential adjustments based on geography, skills, education, experience and other qualifications.
