We are seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Foreman to lead electrical crews on commercial and industrial construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with strong journeyman‑level electrical expertise, a deep understanding of NEC standards, and a passion for safety, quality, and team development.
As an Electrical Foreman, you will oversee daily field operations, coordinate with project teams and subcontractors, mentor electricians and apprentices, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Full‑Time
Salary: $85,000 – $90,000 annually
What You’ll Do- Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on active job sites
- Assign work, set expectations, and monitor productivity
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and ongoing support
- Coordinate labor, materials, and schedules to meet project timelines
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless execution
- Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure proper PPE compliance
- Inspect work to ensure compliance with NEC codes and project requirements
- Troubleshoot electrical and field‑related issues
- Manage tools, materials, and equipment inventory
- Maintain accurate documentation including labor hours, progress reports, and safety records
Required Experience & Skills
- Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems
- Journeyman‑level electrical experience preferred
- Thorough understanding of NEC, OSHA, and industry safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Experience leading crews in fast‑paced construction environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
- Combination of office and industrial field environments
- Exposure to outdoor conditions and active construction sites
